We headed up to Tahoe the last weekend of April to get in a ski/boarding day before the resorts closed for the season. We decided to sign up peyton for another ski lesson which turned out to be more like a private lesson since the resort was pretty much deserted.

Presley loved the spring conditions since it meant she didn't have to wear gloves.
Peyton did great and when we came to watch toward the end of the lesson he told us "I'm the best skier in my class"! (there were only 2 other students) "I want to go do jumps"! Since he was feeling confident we decided to take him up the chairlift to the bunny hill. Even though it's a bunny hill it was much steeper than the area he had his lesson so he was struggling to get down it. It's really hard to help your child learn to ski when you're on a snowboard so finally Mark just decided to pick him up and give him a ride down the hill which Peyt loved!
I think after a few more lessons next year he'll be able to conquer the bunny hill solo.
