A Year in Review

January was a struggle as we were still dealing with daily seizures for most of the month, but on January 22nd Presley had her last seizure!
Presley learned how to sit up on her own even while battling the seizure monster! My baby girl is a fighter!
We tried our best to still get out and have fun with Peyton. Here he is at his friend Kane's 4th bday party.

February
Presley's chubby steroid cheeks were in full effect in February. This picture is one of Presley's first smiles since the seizures stopped. We didn't see any smiles from late Nov until Feb so they would just make our day!
we weren't allowed to take Presley in public places due to her compromised immune system so this is where we ate lunch on our way to Tahoe since we couldn't eat inside =)
so nice to get out of our house and enjoy a change of scenery in Tahoe

March

Still housebound most of March as we finished up the steroid wean.

Walks around the neighborhood and trips to the park were the only thing that kept me sane. A little sunshine goes a long way!
                                                  The cheeks kept on growing!!

April
We're finally allowed to leave the house! I've never been so excited to go to the grocery store =)
                                  Peyton and Presley got Baptized.

Peyton turns four! Can't believe how fast the time has gone.
Peyton signed up for soccer.......not such a good idea.

May
first time wine tasting
We did the epilepsy walk at Discovery Kingdom. Go Team Presley!
Finally finished our backyard...only took us 15 months!

June
Presley turned 1 on June 1st!
we threw her a pinwheel themed 1st birthday party
my little crawler in her party dress

it rained so we had to move the party indoors

I threw Kelly a bridal shower which we also had to move indoors at the last minute.

 the beautiful bride to be
the party all set up. I had so much fun planing both parties!

Peyton started swim lessons

Once the weather warmed up we were finally able to get outside and enjoy the sunshine!

July
We had our annual bbq on the Fourth of July and watched the fireworks get set off from right across the street.
Poor Presley came down with pneumonia =(.
She recovered just in time to leave for our first family vacation to Sunriver, Oregon.
Presley went swimming for the first time and LOVED it! Peyton is a little fish and we struggled to get him out of the water.
Peyton and Mark having fun in the pool
 Peyton caught his first fish!
We did lots of bike riding
I got to catch up with my BFF Meadow
Lots of good times with the whole family.

went to Vegas for Kelly's bachelorette party.....realized I can't keep up with these girls =)
and of course had to hit up the Sonoma County fair

August
 enjoyed some sunshine in Tahoe
 and swimming
the most exciting part of August was Ken and Kelly's wedding! It was such a fun day!
Mark and I celebrated our five year anniversary on August 5th....love this man!

October
PRESLEY STARTED WALKING!! She took her first steps about a month ago but on October 1st started full on walking!
We went to Tahoe and had fun at the fall festival

Peyton got in some beach time.
I was so excited to start dressing Presley in her new fall wardrobe...I love those boots!
These kids went to so many pumpkin patches this month. This was our first trip to the petaluma pumpkin patch with Ken,Kelly, Jenna and Cowan. We went to Dinner afterwards and Kelly announced she was pregnant! Peyton and Presley's new cousin will be here in June =)
next my mom took took them to another pumpkin patch in Petaluma with Robin and Jet.
Then Peyton went on a class field trip to Grandma's pumpkin patch in Healdsburg.
Peyton finally carving some of these pumpkins.
and of course Grandma and Papa had to take them to farmer Andy's pumpkin patch....they were even in the paper.

 We spent Thanksgiving in Tahoe.
The kids enjoyed playing with the little bit of snow that was on the deck.

December
This December was unseasonably warm so we were still having lots of picnics at the park.
Peyton mailing his letter to Santa at the Town Green
cutting down our tree at frosty mountain tree farm
 Ken and Kelly came too.
 so did Grandma Patty
visiting santa at the ELI xmas party. Presley was not impressed!
checking out the house in Rohnert Park with thousands of lights
Peyton and one of his best preschool buddies Talen.
Peyton woke up bright and early (5:00) on xmas morning to discover santa had left him this huge race track!
